1. About Hobnobbit.com

  • Hobnobbit (VAT no. SE871027352801) is based in Sweden. The company's warehouse and office address is Hobnobbit, Gårdshuset 2:a Vån, Stora Östergatan 18, 27134 Ystad, Sweden. Mailing address is Hobnobbit, c/o Kennedy Lundblad, Lilla Strandgatan 2B, 27143 Ystad, Sweden.

2. Order

  • Once you have completed your order, an order confirmation will be sent to your email address. The confirmation will contain all the information regarding the products, price, billing, and shipping address.
  • If there is any error in the order confirmation, please contact us immediately via email at support@hobnobbit.com.

3. Delivery

  • Our normal delivery time is 3-7 days. Please note that orders placed on weekends will be shipped on the following Monday at the earliest.
  • If there are any delays in the delivery without prior notification of extended delivery time, please contact us at support@hobnobbit.com.

4. Prices

  • All prices in the store are stated in DKK and include 25% VAT.
  • We reserve the right to adjust the price due to price changes from the supplier, misprints in the price list, and inaccuracies in prices caused by incorrect information.

5. Right of Withdrawal

  • When purchasing goods on the website, you, as a customer, have a statutory right of withdrawal for 14 days from the receipt of an ordered item.

    5.1 When exercising your right of withdrawal:
  • You must notify us that you wish to withdraw. The notification should be sent to support@hobnobbit.com. In your message, clearly state your name, address, email address, order number, and specify which items the return applies to.
  • You should return the products to us immediately and no later than 14 days after the withdrawal notification.
  • You are responsible for the return shipping, delivery, and condition of the products upon return. Therefore, the products should be well-packaged and in their original packaging.
  • We reserve the right to deduct an amount equivalent to the depreciation of the item's value due to use or damage from the refund amount.

    5.2 The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
  • Products that have been sealed for health or hygiene reasons, and where the seal has been broken by you.
  • Custom-made products that have been specifically made for you or have a clear personal touch according to your specifications.

6. Complaints and Claims

  • We inspect all products before dispatching them to you. If the product is still damaged or wrongly dispatched upon arrival, we undertake, in accordance with current consumer protection legislation, to rectify the error at no cost.
  • You must always contact us for approval before returning a defective item.
  • The complaint should be sent immediately after the defect is discovered.
6.1 How to proceed with a complaint?
  • Any faults and defects should always be reported to support@hobnobbit.com, providing your name, address, email address, order number, and a description of the fault.
  • If we are unable to rectify the fault or provide a similar product, we will refund you for the defective product in accordance with current consumer protection legislation. We cover return shipping for approved complaints.
  • We reserve the right to reject a complaint if it turns out that the item is not faulty in accordance with current consumer protection legislation. For complaints, we follow guidelines from the Consumer Complaints Board.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • We do not accept any liability for indirect damages that may arise due to the product.
  • We do not accept any responsibility for delays/errors caused by circumstances beyond the company's control (Force Majeure). These circumstances may include labor disputes, fires, war, official decisions, reduced or non-delivery from suppliers.
  • Furthermore, no responsibility is taken for any changes to products/product properties made by the respective supplier and other factors beyond our control.

8. Product Information

  • We reserve the right for any typographical errors on this website as well as product sell-out. We do not guarantee that the images accurately represent the appearance of the products, as slight color variations may occur depending on the display, photo quality, and resolution. We always strive to present the products as accurately as possible.

9. Information about Cookies

  • According to the law on electronic information, visitors to a website must be informed about the use of cookies for privacy purposes. The information in the cookie can be used to track a user's browsing. A cookie is a small text file that the website you visit requests to save on your computer to provide access to various features. 10. Personal Data

  • By shopping at Hobnobbit, you accept our privacy policy and our processing of your personal data. We value your personal privacy and do not collect more information than necessary to process your order. We never sell or disclose your information to third parties without a legal basis.

  • Hobnobbit is responsible for the processing of personal data that you provide to us as a customer. Your personal data is processed by us in order to handle your order and, in cases where you have requested newsletters or promotional offers, to tailor the marketing to your individual needs.

  • The information below is a summary of how we store and process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

  • 10.1 What is personal data? 
    Personal data is any information that can be directly or indirectly attributed to a physical person.

  • 10.2 What data do we store? 
    In order to process your order and respond to questions related to your order (customer service), we store your first and last name, address, phone number, email address, IP address, and purchase history. Your data is stored as long as we have a legal basis to process it, for example, to fulfill the contract between us or to comply with a legal obligation, such as the Swedish Accounting Act.

  • 10.3 Legal basis 
    In connection with a purchase, your personal data is processed to fulfill the contract with you. Marketing, promotions, and similar communications are sent with your consent.

  • 10.4 Which data is shared and for what purpose?

  • 10.4.1 Payment Provider: When making a purchase, information is shared with our payment provider. The stored information includes first name, last name, address, email address, and phone number. If you choose to pay by invoice, your personal identification number (personnummer) will also be stored by the payment provider. The information is stored to process the purchase and to protect the parties against fraud. The payment provider we use is Klarna.
  • 10.4.2 Shipping Company: In order to deliver your orders and fulfill our agreement, we need to share specific information with the shipping company. The information shared with the shipping company includes first name, last name, and address for delivery. Email address and/or mobile number may also be shared with the shipping company for notifications. The shipping companies we collaborate with are: PostNord and DHL.
  • 10.4.3 Newsletter: If you have chosen to subscribe to our newsletter, your first name, last name, and email address are shared with our newsletter service provider. This is done to keep you updated with information and offers for marketing purposes. We use Shopify for newsletter distribution.

  • 10.5 Right of access
    You have the right to request a copy of all the information we have about you. The information will be provided electronically in a readable format.

  • 10.6 Right of rectification
    You have the right to request us to update incorrect information or complete incomplete information.

  • 10.7 Right to be forgotten
    You can request at any time to have your data deleted. There are few exceptions to the right of erasure, such as when it needs to be retained to comply with a legal obligation (e.g., according to the Swedish Accounting Act).

  • 10.8 Data Protection Officer
    Hobnobbit is responsible for the storage and processing of personal data in the online store and ensures compliance with the regulations.

  • 10.9 How we protect your personal data 
    We use industry-standard SSL/TLS and one-way hash algorithms to store, process, and communicate sensitive information, such as personal data and passwords, in a secure manner. We use Shopify as the platform for our online store.

11. Changes to the General Terms and Conditions

  • We reserve the right to make changes to the terms and conditions at any time. Changes to the terms and conditions will be published online on the website. The amended terms and conditions are considered accepted in connection with an order or visit to the website.

12. Dispute and Choice of Law

  • In the event that a dispute cannot be resolved amicably with the company's customer service and the customer, you as a customer can turn to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden, ARN), see arn.se.   • In the event of a dispute, we will comply with decisions from ARN or equivalent dispute resolution bodies.
  • Disputes regarding the interpretation or application of these general terms and conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with Swedish law.
