Super Sculpey's Polymer Clay is a wonderfully versatile sculpting compound, perfect for creating intricately detailed finished sculptures. This Polymer clay is an essential tool for crafting miniatures, maquettes, dolls, and is widely favored by professionals and movie animation studios worldwide.
Similar to other polymer clays, this compound remains pliable until it is baked at 130ºC (275°F) for 15-30 minutes. Once baked, it achieves a ceramic-like hardness, allowing for further refinement through carving, sanding to a smooth finish, drilling, and painting. Baking can be easily accomplished in any regular oven.
Unlike air-drying clays, this polymer clay retains its softness until baked, making it an excellent choice for beginners. It enables the layering of new, soft Sculpey over previously cured Sculpey, expanding creative possibilities.
